First Telco Concept Store Launched in Boracay

In time for the large influx of local and international of tourists to the island this summer, a Globe Concept Store has been opened lately.

Being the first telco concept store in the world-renowned tourist destination, it aims to cater to the needs of tourists, approximately 1 million a year, who flock to Boracay.

Prior to this move, the network has enhanced their network coverage in order to provide speedy internet surfing, clear voice calls and real time messaging. Now, the company is apt to provide a shopping experience like no other while having a vacation in the island coupled with very good customer service and post sales support team.

Globe Stores Transformation Head Maridol Ylanan said that by installing a one-stop shop concept store in the premiered tourist site, the company aims to give customers who are residents and tourists of Boracay the products and services topped with convenience.

Strategically located at D’Mall of Station 2, the store is a showroom displaying a unique concept for for the island setting. Like any concept store, customers can try demo units. Apart from the prepaid and postpaid plans, phones and gadgets offered, customers can also purchase accessories which go best with devices. Various transactions also be done like opening accounts, account management, payments, loading services and GCASH remittances.

The design of the structure, created by J. Antonio Mendoza Design Consultants, complements with the natural tropical feel of Boracay. Along with this design are some uniquely accented chairs made by Kenneth Cobonpue.

Personnel who will be manning the store will also wear custom-fit themed uniforms designed by Charina Sarte, one of the few famed designers in the country.

Presently, Globe provides better customer service through its 172 stores scattered in the whole archipelago. Globe looks forward to opening more concept stores in strategic settings all over the Philippines.
