4 Insane Cars You Need To Drive Before You Die!

by , in
Today, I’m going to talk about some of my favourite cars ever. These are the cars that I’ve dreamt about for years. It’s my list of cars that everyone needs to drive at least once before they die:

Bugatti Veyron
When the Bugatti Veyron burst onto the scene, it blew away all the competition. Never before had we seen such a fast and exhilarating car. It reached incredible speeds and looked brilliant. There was something different about the design, compared to other supercars out there. People hung pictures of the car on their walls and it was seen as the ultimate dream car. The only bad thing about this car is that it’s hard to get your hands on. If you’re lucky, there may be a track day that lets you take it for a spin. One thing for certain, if you ever get the chance to drive one, you need to take it!

Ferrari Enzo
The Enzo is arguably one of the most iconic cars Ferrari has ever made. There was a time when it was considered the fastest car in the world, and the king of supercars. Even though it’s a little outdated, the Enzo is still a thrilling drive. The good news is because it’s old, you can find ways to drive one for a relatively low price. There are companies like Prestige Keys that offer Ferrari Enzo hire for a few days. If you’ve been a car lover for a long time, then this car should definitely make it onto your car driving bucket list.

Ford Mustang
If you want to talk about iconic cars, then we need to throw the Ford Mustang into the mix. It’s such a cool car that’s been seen as special ever since it was first made. There’s a brand new Mustang coming out soon, and I can’t wait to see it. What makes this car so great is that it’s way cheaper than either of the first two options. But, it’s just as awesome, if not more! If I were you, I’d be a little cheeky and go to a Ford dealership when the new Mustang is out. Pretend you’re interested so you can get a little test drive of the car. It might not be a long drive, but it will be one you never forget.

Lamborghini Aventador
Of course, I couldn’t make a list like this without including at least one Lambo. The fact is. Lamborghini’s are just so cool. Nothing beats the feeling of opening those iconic doors and stepping out of a stunning Lambo. You could take your pick of any Lamborghini ever made; they’re all beautiful and incredible to drive. For me, I recommend the Aventador. It’s just got a little something that makes it stand out and turn heads. Try and get behind the wheel of one before you die, you’ll love every second of it.

There you have it; my four favourite cars of all time. These are the type of cars that you drive for five minutes and your mind is blown. If you can, try and drive one; you won’t regret it!

What Makes Toyotas Such Great Family Cars?

by , in
Buying a family car is not like buying a car for any other kind of purpose. You’re thinking beyond the excitement of the drive and even the car itself. You’re thinking about what value it can add to your life, how it can make it easier and how much it costs. That’s why, thinking utility and long-term, we’ve concluded that Toyota might be one of the best. The Japanese titan of a brand has a sterling reputation when it comes to manufacturing cars. But we know it deserves one for manufacturing family cars, too. Here are just a few of the reasons Toyota’s make great family cars.

Fuel efficiency
The head of the family has a lot of reasons to care about fuel efficiency. First of all, fuel costs a lot. Especially if you live in the city where you have to use a lot of it. Secondly, we all have that lingering voice reminding us we really should try live more sustainably for our kids’ future. That’s why Toyota are well worth considering. After all, their Prius practically led the hybrid revolution.

Safety
With our kids’ future in mind, we want to make sure we keep them nice and healthy for it. Which is why safety is another huge priority for a family car. One you’re well covered with when it comes to Toyota. Few manufacturers are as thorough in their car safety testing as Toyota. Few also go to the lengths in introducing new safety technologies as well. Toyota is amongst the first adopting crash preventing auto-brake technologies. The same technologies could be the standard in years to come.

Reliability
If you’re getting something for the whole family, it better be able to go the distance. There’s no tolerating something that’s likely to break down or start losing pieces if you’re taking it around town all day. Reliability is key for any busy family. Reliability is also what Toyota happens to be most known for. Indeed, in Consumer Reports’ 2016 study, it was Toyota and Lexus that topped the brands in ‘reliability’.

Resale value
The safety and reliability of a Toyota mean that it’s going to be operational and doing just fine for years to come. For some people, that’s enough to convince them. For others, they want to know that their money’s going somewhere. Those people will be glad to hear that Toyota ranks amongst the highest when it comes to resale value. Not only are you buying a car, you’re making sure you’ll get some money back out of it when you’re done.

Technology
Safety isn’t the only place where Toyota are putting their research money. They might not be the flashiest cars, but they are doing some great things with technology. Lots of Toyotas have convenience and entertainment technology close to the level of the luxury brands. They’re even looking at ways that your car can change its looks to fit your personal tastes. Even displaying detailed information of how your car is doing on a digital display.

The Greatest Family 4x4s

by , in
It’s no surprise 4x4s are so popular with modern families. They’re safe, reliable and spacious. So, here the best ones on the market at the moment.

Suzuki Jimmy

The Suzuki Jimmy has been treated pretty harshly by a lot of reviews, but I don’t see why. Yes, it’s a versatile road that is even better off-road than it is on the road. But it can still act as a great family 4x4. It’s incredibly cheap now too, especially if you find a second-hand model, making them perfect for parents.

The car is not so big that it becomes difficult to drive on city streets though. It manages to strike a good balance between being manageable enough to drive in all situations and being big enough to carry the whole family. Some people don’t like the way it looks - but you can’t have everything!

Land Rover Range Rover

The thing about the Range Rover is that it can do it all. When you’re sitting in the cabin, you feel the luxury and refinement all around you. It’s a car that can challenge the quality and luxury of the very best top end saloons made by the likes of BMW and Mercedes. Yet, it’s not a saloon; it’s a massive 4x4.

It takes on any terrain that you can throw at it. It’s size and powerful engine means that no challenge is too much for it. If you opt for the v6 engine model, it will actually be pretty efficient too though, and I bet you didn’t expect me to say that. They’re not cheap to buy new though, so find a used Range Rover from Saxton 4x4.

Subaru Forester

Subaru is a manufacturer that knows how to make cars that can take a lot of battering. The Forester is no difference. It has an incredible build quality, and you feel 100% safe when you’re behind the wheel. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on the motorway or off-road, the Forester will keep you safe.

It’s a car that’s more concerned with reliability and practicality than it is with the way it looks. It’s not necessarily going to turn heads as you drive down the street. But it won’t break down very often either. It’s a great car and one of the best 4x4s on the market right now, so consider them!

Sexy Scion Cars Seduce the Fast-Moving Members of Generation Y

by , in

Scion is a brand put on the market by the well-known Japanese automaker Toyota. The brand’s models are designed to appeal to younger customers, popularly known as “Generation Y.” These sleek, sexy vehicles have just what it takes to turn the eyes of ambitious, tech-savvy young people. What makes them truly irresistible is their low price given the high level of sophistication. It’s no surprise that youthful drivers are snapping these cars up all over the country!

Beginnings

Toyota has been selling automobiles of the Scion brand since 2003 in the United States and several Middle Eastern countries. The first Scion car was presented in the United States on March 27, 2002 at the New York Auto Show. Subsequent models made their debut at the Great Car Show in Los Angeles in 2003. During these early years, Scion cars were only sold at 105 dealerships in California. Now, due to their popularity, they are widely available across the United States. Since 2011, the Scion models are also available in Canada.

Marketing a New Brand of Car

by , in

Not Your Parent's Car

Ten years ago, Toyota decided it needed a way to entice the younger, generation Y age group into considering their products. Instead of creating a small, zany, and more affordable Toyota product, they instead created an offshoot brand to attract this younger group of customers. This unique business move gave the next generation something they could call their own, as in "not their parent's car". The success of Scion cars is due to a great product, but more importantly, to creative marketing, pop culture and quirky image.

Generation Y Sales

Marketing to a very specific age group involves looking very closely at the age group to figure out what they value, what interests them, and what they are most likely to purchase. The age group referred to as Generation Y, or the Millennials, are typically described as those who were born anywhere from the 1980's to the year 2,000. Ten years ago, when the company introduced its first car, the eldest in this age group were only in their 30's. Most would have been out of college and settled into a career, just beginning to feel entitled to nicer things. Add to this the fact that this age group is incredibly tech savvy and the marketing plan gets even more involved. Because this age group has such a high level of access to technology and information, they read, research, and use social media to check out products and services before making any major purchase. They look for information about how a product will benefit them personally, instead of looking only at the shiny wrapping of advertising. Online purchases are no problem for this internet savvy group, and they tend to look for websites that are quick and easy to use. This Generation Y group is also very willing to share information with friends, be it good or bad information. This means that they take notice of great companies and services and share the information with their circle of friends, which in the world of the internet is ever expanding.

How the Scion fits Generation Y

In marketing the Scion specifically to this age group, Toyota used a number of unique tools to attract attention. First, in knowing that this age group was just beginning to feel entitled to nicer things, their cars were promoted on a "you build it" platform. In giving customers the ability to easily choose features for their car, the manufacturer was, in essence, letting the customer choose the features that they felt they deserved. This marketing technique is somewhat like hanging a carrot in front of a cart horse. Once the horse notices that carrot, he may be willing to walk miles trying to get a bite of it. Consumers interested in this brand of car would tend to choose more upgraded features simply because they like the look they provide. With the group's access to the internet in a multitude of forms, a unique, easy purchase was a must. Allowing the customer the ability to plan and purchase through the website, having clear cut prices, and available add on options was a move that had not been made before in the car industry. No longer would car shoppers have to go to a physical location and endure a sales presentation that resulted in a lengthy banter over prices. Instead, they would be able to shop 100% online if they chose to. This pointed marketing strategy, added to the unique product introduced ten years ago has worked to create a product that Generation Y has made successful, not only through their purchases, but also with their wiliness to share purchase and satisfaction experiences relating to their new vehicles via social media networks.

The Scion Difference

Beyond the masterful marketing, what features have made this brand so successful? These high-quality affordable cars offer plenty of passenger and cargo room, have a small footprint that is beneficial to young urban residents, and have a funky style that sets the automobiles apart from the cars of the previous generation. Add to this great gas mileage and the ability to easily customize and upgrade and you have the recipe for a successful offshoot company tailored specifically for an age group that is ready to spend their newly earned money on things they deserve.
