It doesn’t make sense – two beautiful and talented women, fighting over a man. This is a storyline favorite among soap opera writers, it seems. It’s been written about over and over - and over again that it almost it feels like and sounds like a cliché. It’s a plot that demeans women and reduces them to mindless zombies that live in search of an able bodied man. (well – even if the man isn’t able bodied, women apparently still fight over him.)

Art truly imitates life and true to form, we now have two attractive women who are fighting over a man. The tabloids are now full of news that Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador are apparently not in good terms. Maja is in a relationship with Gerald who is Kim’s ex. Ugh. Kim is allegedly sore that Maja went into a relationship with him, even if they already parted ways and have stayed that way for over three years.It’s just in bad taste to talk, write or even think about. Kim is attractive – and can have any man she wants. Maja is the same, why fight over Gerald? Why destroy a friendship over one man when you can have so many others?

A series of events has led to a conclusion that there is something romantic going on between Maja Salvador and Gerald Anderson. But even with the constant denial of both parties; several events and photos confirmed their relationship going formal but left closed to the public.

Since the last quarter of 2012, Gerald and Maja’s alleged relationship has been talked about in several showbiz talk shows. The first time they were seen together was during the holidays at the Misibis Bay Resort Hotel, located at this so-called Cagraray which part of Albay province and this seemed to have started the rumor.

I was surprised when I learned that Kim Chiu will be playing as Jasmine for My Girl (Pinoy Version). I believe that she fits the role because she is "chinita" and she looks like Lee Da Hae also.

It is no doubt that blessings are pouring in on the career of Kim Chiu since she won as the Pinoy Big Brother first teen edition winner. ABS-CBN even gave her a birthday bash on her 18th birthday. With Gerald Anderson also as her partner, they now are being tagged as country's ultimate loveteam. They had series of team-ups that are indeed a success like Sana Maulit Muli, Maligno (now airing) and the coming Primetime Show, My Girl.

I hope this local version of My Girl will get high ratings. We are excited to watch this show and Good Luck to all of you especially Kim Chiu.
