My cute neighbor Kring2x was actually the first one to inform me that GMA-7 will also be doing a local version of Korean Novelas just like ABS-CBN.
The first soap would be Kim Sam Soon. This is one hell of a great show. I am a fan of the Korean version because I just love the story line and the character of Kim Sam Soon too. Nakakatawa kasi ang mga gestures niya. And I also believe that Regine Velasquez really fits the role not because she is getting fatter now but on the the fact that Regine is indeed a very good actress. (Remember her potrayal on Kailangan Kita, that was superb!)
I wonder what will be the opposite drama of this on ABS-CBN when it will be finally aired. Is it the localized version of My Girl or Betty La Fea? Hmmnn...interesting. Who do you think will get more audiences? We will just see. Well, good luck to all of you.
Anyways, Mark Anthony Fernandez will play the role of Cyrus and Wendell Ramos will play the role of Dr. Henry Kim. Do you think it will be a good combination with Regine Velasquez? Well, that is what we will soon to find out.
