These feeler gauges come in different sizes and are used to measure gaps and slots in the parts of the machine which are deemed hard to reach. Before using these kinds of measuring gadget, first, you need to make certain or choose the right range of feeler gauges for a specific gap you want to be measured. Another important tip in using these gauges is to oil the blade. This should be done before any measuring procedure will take place.
