My 2010 Trips - Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo and Boracay

One of the good things that happened to me for 2010 was being able to travel and visit the wonderful places of the Philippines namely Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo and Boracay. Aside from that, it was also memorable because it was my first time to experience riding in an airplane. Yes, after more than 25 years of dreaming it - I have finally realized that dream and it happened twice for this year. That's why I'm so happy.

Boracay, Trip to Boracay

The first trip was last May 13-16 where we went to Cebu and Bohol. After 12 years, I've finally visited my high school Alma Mater (the Sisters of Mary School) and it was just nostalgic. Although we stayed only for a day I'm thankful that I get to visit Taoist Temple and Lapu-Lapu bridge  also. I've never been to these places when I was in Cebu during my high school days. While in Bohol, we had long hours of road trip. We went to Sagbayan Peak, Baclayon Church and museum,  Butterfly and Python sanctuary, Hinagdanan Cave and Loboc River.

The second trip was last October 8-10 where I attended our College reunion. This trip was full of fun not to mention Gerald is with us, our comedy king. We were all entertained during our 5 hrs road trip from Iloilo to Boracay. We also had a stop over to Capiz  to take our lunch at the famous Pengee. (a restaurant that can found along the road)

In Boracay, we stayed in the affordable, beautiful and nice hotel named Tan's guest house. We had island hopping, snorkling and get to experience riding an ATV. The latter, it was just the best! It was my first time also. I've never tried riding a motorcycle or any type. It was nerve-wracking and so much fun at the same time.Whew!

For 2011, I hope to travel and explore more the beautiful Philippines. And soon, when I have enough funds hopefully it will be abroad. I really want to go to Europe.

P.S. I'll try to post more pics.
